Meet Michelle Schunzel
Health Coach & Marketing Director
Natural healthy living was a big part of my life growing up in a small Western Washington town. My parents are both from Eastern Montana where family values, growing a garden and folk medicine was just what you did to thrive. My father was a pioneer in the field of Chiropractic and Natural Medicine. He kept me structurally aligned from birth and introduced me to natural supplements as soon as I could swallow. I learned to garden, enjoy the simple things in life and grow and cook healthy, delicious food from my sweet Mother. My father’s passion for health and vitality inspired me to become an entrepreneurial Massage Therapist, privately practicing massage for 28 years now, and owning a medical day spa for over ten years.
I continued my education in nutrition and natural medicine with my late husband, who was a Functional Medicine Physician in Bellevue, WA. We attended numerous advanced training seminars taught by some of the top Functional Medicine innovators in the world.
After losing my husband last year, I moved to Great Falls, his home town, to start life over in a simpler and slower environment–a big change that was much needed as part of my own personal growth and development. Now I am currently in a wonderful relationship with the sweetest man I’ve ever known.
I have two children, and three step daughters who all live in the Seattle area, and I’m thrilled to say that they have all adopted my healthy style of active, vibrant living. My personal passions and hobbies are hiking, snowshoeing, riding horses and spending time with family and friends.
Living a healthy lifestyle remains one of my top priorities in life, along with doing what I love; teaching others how to attain an optimal level of health and wellbeing. I am so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to work as a team with Dr. Anderson at Thriven….I am one of the few people who get to say “ I love what I do, and do what I love”.
